Uma Thurman, Hugh Laurie (House M.D.), and Ibrahimovic Join Forces on Italian TV

For those of us with vivid imaginations (like myself), the above title could give rise to a variety of scenarios. Namely it could go something like this:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (in hospital room):Doc, you’re not serious! I have important match against Barcelona next week, you cannot amputate legs!
Hugh Laurie:Ah, yes, but as the philosopher Jagger once said, ‘You can’t always get what you want.
Other doctor:You are aware of the Hippocratic oath, right?
Hugh Laurie: The one that starts, “First, do no harm”, then goes on to tell us: no abortions, no seductions, and definitely no cutting of those who labor beneath the stone? Yeah, took a read once. Wasn’t impressed.
Uma Thurman (storming into the room in full yellow leather, wielding a big samurai sword) [in Japanese]: “Zlatan Ibrahimovic! You and I have unfinished business!

Maybe I should send them a copy, who knows…

Anyways, I spotted this while I was spending the Summer in Italy, and someone has conveniently subtitled it in English (kudos to him/her). It’s a really fun ad, but I’ll let you be the judge of that yourselves.

For all those of you who don’t know: Mediaset is one of the main Italian commercial television networks, founded and (unofficially) controlled by AC Milan president (and current Italian prime minister) Silvio Berlusconi. The ad is advertising the upcoming addition of Disney Channel to their “Premium gallery” (package) of TV stations.
