As usual, the GOALS of the WEEK: there were some nice goals scored this week-end (such as David Trezeguet’s lovely bicycle kick vs. Palermo or Marcelo Zalayeta’s gems vs. Catania). However, this week I’ve picked set pieces: two lovely free-kick deliveries that left no chance to the opposing goalkeeper, and who better to feature in such a spotlight than Serie A’s top marskmen of the free-kick art, Alessandro Del Piero and Andrea Pirlo. Enjoy!
