As of right now it looks like Montolivo will be trequartista with Gobbi taking his place on the left of a 3-man midfield. How about a straight three-striker formation (Mutu on the left, Jovetic on the right, Gila in the middle)? I know Prandelli hasn't given many opportunities to Jovetic so far, but Semioli's situation is even worse in that sense (whenever I check their match line-ups he's always on the bench).
