My dear fseq,

Every time there is a transfer rumour, you have to take it exactly as it is: a RUMOUR. Sometimes these rumours have very solid foundations, sometimes they're entirely based on speculation.

In this case, with the tensions between Benitez and Gillett/Hicks, it makes perfect sense to postulate that they Liverpool bosses are scanning the market for a possible replacement for the Spaniard. Whether that will take place or not is another matter, but at any rate since Capello hasn't been managing any team since this summer and has expressed his interest MANY times he would like to coach in the EPL or for the Three Lions, it isn't much of a stretch to think he's on the shortlist of the Merseyside club.

As for Rick Parry denying the rumours, that's exactly what most club owners do before a major transfer (before the following week we find out that the transfer effectively took place). So, in turn, I ask YOU to ponder about the reality of transfer negotiations, and think that if clubs didn't adopt this kind of tactic, players/managers could basically name their own salary.

Really don't see the logic in putting Liverpool as a "choice" for Capello when Parry has denied the rumors linking him with the club. If you think you're a serious blogger then ponder why the blog-phenomenon rose in the first place. It was because media distorted information and labelled it as news rather than rumors or pure lies and people wanted to publish real news that media ignored because it doesn't sell as much or hurts their owners interests. Here you are reproducing the medias message, so you're really just a slave and a sucker in helping them get an impact. mCalcio.com - Serie A & World Soccer BULLSHIT
