Today’s hero of the week: Celtic midfielder Massimo Donati, who has become an irreplaceable piece in manager Gordon Strachan’s chessboard. The Italian scored yet another goal this week in the 5-0 home win to Inverness, and hopefully there will be more where that came from in the Champions’ League (where Celtic are in AC Milan’s group).

Meanwhile, ex-Livorno striker Cristiano Lucarelli upped his goal total in the Ukrainian league (a transformed penalty shot which puts Shakhtar Donetsk at 1^st spot in the rankings), while goalkeeper Flavio Roma had an unlucky return from injury, as his team Monaco lost an home clash to rivals PSG.
