Much of the criticism of Inter should be taken with a grain of salt. Any team that has Ibrahimovic in it can’t be playing strictly ugly soccer. The problem is in the midfield. Inter has suffered an injury crisis there (losing Viera, Figo, Stankovic and Dacourt) and thus they’ve had to play defensively and pounce on the counter. Before all of those players were lost to injury, Inter retained posession much more. They have EASILY the strongest squad in Europe, and could win everything this year, proving it again today.

it’s gonna be a close game. inter has a better form but Milan do have kaka. milan has been rubbish playing at home in the serie a but anything can happen in a derby match.

Good article. Inter’s play isn’t shite though. Not the best to look at I’ll give you, but still very good. Everyone is building Inter up, so that they hope AC win and everyone can knock down Inter. It WILL NOT be an easy match, but I have confidence in my beloved Inter.

I don’t follow Italian football at all but I cannot understand as to how a team which scores 4 goals past teams like Roma is not playing good football ?

This will be some Sunday… El Clasico, the Milan derby, plus I will bet anyone that Everton - Man Utd will be a hell of a match. Almost manages to measure up to last week’s, but nothing beats the Premier League showdowns.

Here are my prediction for tomorrow:

Inter - AC Milan: 3-0
Barcelona - Real Madrid: 1-2

Thanks for reminding me of *that match last year. Dejan Stankovic proved to me that he is one of the top midfielders in the world with that performance… do you remeber his goal?

NB. I would put Man Utd - Arsenal on Septermber 16th along with the two you named as “the best matches in Europe.” Those three were mind-boggling.
