Back from Holiday

Hello everyone,
Just got back from 2 weeks of sunshine in the Bahamas. Well not exactly 2 weeks of sunshine, because last Tuesday the islands were hit by fallout weather from hurricane Noel, and we ended up getting 4 days of heavy rain and wind. It got to the point that planes leaving on Wednesday were delayed because the airfield was literally inundated (I’m talking about water-up-to-your-waist type of sh**).
Aside from that little mishap however, my vacation went great. Lots of beach time, scuba-diving, and various sports activities. I tried playing some soccer too, but not many club members were soccer players and the field was in horrible condition. We managed to get a 5 vs. 5 game together, but were forced to play with an almost deflated ball, so needless to say that in those circumstances I only played that one single time: it’d be pretty pointless to roll your ankle on a field of potatoes, especially while you’re on vacation.
Anyways, I’m back now so posting activity should progressively return to normal over the next few days. I hope you haven’t missed me too much.
